Business Challenge

Our university client was using BlackBoard to support a series of courses. When BlackBoard was updated, its existing content had to be adapted as well. To develop new courses TrainSmart was brought on board.

TrainSmart Solution

TrainSmart provided a Project Manager and team of remote BlackBoard developers who established processes and procedures to simplify interactions with the university’s faculty. The team also established a time-tracking method to ensure budget verification.

Results

Until the university developed onsite BlackBoard expertise, the TrainSmart team moved the existing curriculum to the new BlackBoard release and implemented previously unused BlackBoard functionality for use of supplemental material, assignment tracking, and group assignments. TrainSmart designed and developed six new courses and coached the university BlackBoard team on how to train. The university is still working on development.
