Situation:

Experienced technical personnel and SMEs, each with experience teaching topics in developing and presenting technical training needed a formal program for establishing consistency in presentation objectives, materials, and content.

The TrainSmart Process:

TrainSmart created a specialized 3-day technical train-the-trainer program to implement this company’s templates and help the SMEs best discuss their use of visuals in training. The program worked to create a more uniform training program, creating effective classroom environments, developing training materials, and how to best use available technology in teaching.

The Results:

Participants walked away with the ability to establish meaningful learning objectives that are appropriate for each training course, understand and appreciate the importance of well-designed training presentations, including effective instructor materials and student handouts, and an improvement of critical corporate presentation skills.
